Our old website was built by a son of former Highlander Sandra Sormaz. Over the years images and text were updated and it served us well but the site was built before the widespread use of phones and tablets so was not very mobile friendly. Our 100 year anniversary seemed like a good time for a redesign so that work was started in mid 2020 but picking the right WordPress theme and getting it to look the way you want can be a long and frustrating process so the new site was not completed until late 2020 / early 2021.

Other than being mobile friendly (responsive design) the main goal for the new site was a fresh modern look while maintaining recognizable elements of the old site. Because the old site is part of our history, it seemed fitting to archive screen shots of the main sections here.
