The band placed 2nd overall in the Grade IV Medley competition at the Wisconsin Highland Games, September 4, 2010. Congratulations to our drum corps for taking 1st in drumming, and best bass section.

The Highlanders were voted Best Band Group at the Streamwood Summer Celebration Parade held on Saturday, July 24. Congratulations!

Looking for Grade V players

In addition to our Grade IV competition band, the Highlanders will field a Grade V competition band in 2011. We are looking for both pipers and drummers to fill out our ranks. The band receives instruction from Adrian Melvin (pipes), Jim Sim (drums) and Jamie Stewart (tenor). Highlanders win in Minnesota!

The band placed 1st in the Medley competition at the Minnesota Scottish Fair on Saturday, May 22. Best bass section, first in drumming, and first over all. Well done!

Our drummers placed first in both the Medley and the QMM competition at mini band competition on Saturday, March 27.
The band took 3rd place in the Medley. A nice start to the season!
